I never wanted to simply be part of this industry – I wanted to change the way it works.

I’m Maja, founder / talent manager of The Base. Over the past ten years in this industry, I have repeatedly experienced what is often missing, yet makes all the difference to me: honest communication, transparency, and genuine support.

This is exactly why I founded The Base – as an alternative approach, but above all as a foundation for talents who don’t just want to be managed, but truly seen, heard, and understood.

I work very closely and personally with my talents on a daily basis, always on equal terms. For me, there are no standardised careers, I see the person behind the talent, with everything that comes with it: strengths, doubts, and individual pace. And that is exactly where my work begins.

It is important to me to be truly present, especially in moments that are challenging. I strongly believe that a talent is only as strong as the management.

As a woman, it is particularly important to me to empower other women in this industry, to take them seriously, and to give them the space to confidently follow their own path.

My personal goal is to create exactly that: an environment in which talents can thrive and truly live up to their potential.

The Base stands for trust, cohesion, and honest communication – an environment where solutions are found together, professionally and sometimes also personally.

I’m Dave, Co-Founder of The Base. My background as an engineer and a Master’s in Management shape the way I work: analytical in thinking – structured in execution. Responsible for strategy and finance – both on the side of our talents and for the company.

The Base represents a stable foundation.

For our talents, but also for ourselves. A team that provides support, creates security, and encourages people to go their own way, with the knowledge of having someone by their side who catches and supports them.

I translate this sense of support primarily into resilient structures, reliable partnerships, and a transparent financial setup that enables long-term collaboration.

What has been important to us from the very beginning is more present today than ever – absolute transparency, appreciation, and excellent management. “Good” is not enough for us – we aim higher and consistently go the extra mile.
